Turning corners and finishing a seam on a serger

Watch this video to learn how to turn 90 degree corners with a serger. Also watch at 9:30 about how to finish a seam by basically turning 90 degrees away from the garment and just chaining off. For my serger, I can’t loosen the threads in the way shown in the video. Instead, I raise the presser foot, then I push/yank the garment away from me, which causes the threads to jump off the stitch finger (?). Some people turn each of the tension dials down to 0 to loosen the threads. Once you have the thread loose, then you should have enough room to pivot 90 degrees.

  5. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a
blog that’s both educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.
The problem is an issue that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.

  6. Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it tough to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin.
Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thank you
